The Women's Chorus (Sara Camden, Jacquie Felton, Ansley Masters, Yan-Yan Lam) (Randi Kestin, Jacquie Felton, Hilde Heremans, Yan-Yan Lam, Tova Brown) In the pinks, purples and reds, are the chorus soloists. The orange, yellow and green counterparts are the chorus women without speaking lines or a solo. (Not pictured above from the Women's Chorus are Kate Cunningham, Erica Schultz, Katherine Bryant, Sara Verrilli, Stephanie Wang) The men's chorus is visible above in simple lederhosen-esque ensembles. |

Julia Jellicoe, leading lady of the stage. (Ana Albir) An English woman living in Pfennig-Halbpfennig, I wanted to give Julia the most stylish ensemble. She wears traditional soprano pink tempered with a light pistachio green. The style of dress is inspired by a 1908 jumper dress I found on-line. |

Ludwig and Lisa are the happy couple getting married today. (Dawn Perlner & Andrew Sweet) Lisa wears the same basic style as the ensemble women because, though recently made an ingénue, the company still considers her one of their own. Ludwig's fickle nature will be revealed through his character's own use of costume. |
(The sheer size of this cast left me reeling from the experience. Approximately 40 performers, most of whom required 2 or even 3 costumes. Many thanks to Hilde Heremans, Stephanie Wang, and David Euresti who gave generously of their time to help sew the overwhelming number of costumes we produced. Also thanks to the MIT Costume Shop for allowing us to use their facilities during an exceptionally long Saturday and for the use of their stock costumes.)
